Meet the Owner​ - Makiah Williams
From the moment you are greeted by Makiah's huge smile and outgo​ing personality, you will immediately feel at ease. Regardless of the size or reason for your event, her attention to detail and making her clients happy is her number one goal.
Makiah's creative drive can make anyone's vision come to life, allowing you to relax and enjoy your celebration. She completed her IEWP (International Event and Wedding Professional) Certification, which is highly recognized by the ILEA.
In her spare time, Makiah loves to spend time with her husband, family, friends and puppies. She enjoys pretty much anything water and outdoors related. She also loves to read, watch movies and coffee is a daily must for her!
The Meaning of the Name
When choosing the name that would represent Makiah's business, she knew it had to be something unique and special.
She chose the word Essence because it means "the qualities that make a thing what it is"
Idaleen is Makiah's middle name, which was given to her in honor of her great grandmother Idaleen Walters.
The name Essence of Idaleen, is a constant pledge to the clients that trust her with their business, that she will always stay true to the values and principles that she was raised upon. Her honesty and integrity are the foundation to her business. Her attention to detail and love for what she does are the fun parts about working with her.
